From college friends to lifelong colleagues
Talking to Shubhankar Mishra in 2024, Anupam recalled her long friendship with Kiron Kher, mentioning that she was already married when she was unmarried. He was a close friend for 12 years, his senior in Kiron College and excellent in academics, acting and badminton. After going to Mumbai, Kiron joined there after marrying Gautam Berry. During his struggling days, he and Satish Kaushik often visited Kiron and Gautam’s house for dinner. She will give them 50 rupees for a taxi, but they chose to save money and travel by bus.A love that increased with friendship
Anupam further shared that during a difficult phase in his life, his bond increased to love friendship. When Kirron was facing challenges in his marriage, he was working with heartbreak after being released by someone.
