WhatsApp status gets new Instagram features: What is new here. Mint

WhatsApp has added new elements to its status feature to make it more interactive. Most new features are not completely new features and are taken directly from Instagram such as the ability to add image layout or add your stickers.

In a blog post about new features, Meta said, “Are you sharing the everyday moments that make your life or there is a big opportunity, we hope that these new features give you more ways to bring you with them, what is happening and is upset on it.”

New status facilities coming on WhatsApp:

1) Layout:

WhatsApp now allows users to add 6 images to a collage to using the new editing tool on the app and to organize them in such a way that they like the best.

2) Music:

WhatsApp recently introduced the option of adding music to WhatsApp status, similarly how users are using the feature on Instagram. Now, the company is able to make a status update dedicated to a specific song to make a status update, as well as adding the option of sharing a music sticker to express its current mood.

3) Photo stickers:

Personal messaging app is also adding ability to add photos as stickers on status. Users can edit these pictures in the exact shape and size of their selection before putting in position.

4) Add you:

Remember those on Instagram ‘Your Your’ stickers where people share a message and invite others to join the conversation? The same feature is now rolling on WhatsApp, and it is bound to make the app feel much more public.

WhatsApp says that all these facilities will start soon and in the coming months will be available gradually to all users. In any case, it may be a good idea to keep your WhatsApp updated in the latest version to get the latest feature soon.
