Microsoft is providing a very important upgrade to the notepad, allowing the Vintage Windows app to format lessons in various styles such as bold and Italic, while also adding support for hyperlink and markdown. The new update is rolled out for the notepad canary and Dev channel, although there is no confirmation yet when it will be available to stable users.
The new lighweight formatting option is part of a new format tab that is located at the top with the file, edit and see the option. In addition to choosing styles like bold and Italic, there is also an option to add lists to titles and that too in different sizes.
