Weekly Tech Ricap: Openai launched GPT 4.5, cloud Sonnet 3.7 updates and mint becomes more

With excess of news throughout the week, it is difficult to maintain it to speed up all the latest updates. 1) Opeai launched GPT 4.5:

Openai has launched its largest and ‘best’ original model to date, GPT-4.5. Microsoft-supported AI Startup claims that GPT improves the ability to generate creative insight without recognizing 4.5 patterns, making connections and argument skills.

Openai says that it has used a scaling unprotected learning pattern for GPT-4.5, resulting in a comprehensive knowledge of the model and deep understanding of the world, while reducing hallucinations and increasing credibility.

2) Anthropic roll out cloud 3.7 sonnet:

Amazon-supported Anthropic has launched its latest language model, Cloud 3.7 sonnet, which is on the choice of chat and deepsek. Anthropic also took its first step towards AI agents, which is called a cloud code with a new tool for developers.

In particular, Claude has moved away from the traditional story of being a pre-eminent model and an independent logic model. Instead, the Dario Amodi-LED company has integrated the frontier model as well as the Reasoning Model, which means that users can only ask the chatbot that when they want to think for a long time before they respond, the essentially trigger the argument mode where it reflects themselves before responding to the Querry. Claude says that triggering logic mode (or as they call it, “extended thinking mode”) will help improve the performance of models in mathematics, physics, instructions and coding among many other functions.

3) Meta AI to get a standalone app:

According to a CNBC report, Mark Zuckerberg LED Meta is planning to offer his AI in the name of a separate identity with a new standalone app. Currently, the Open Source AI is available only for Meta’s suite apps including WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook.

Allegedly, the Meta is planning to launch the new Standelone Meta AI app during the second quarter and CEO Mark Zuckerberg will have a major step in plans to make his company AI leader by the end of the year.

4) Sergei Brin asked Google employees to work 60 hours a week to get AGI:

Google co-founder Sergei Brin has said that the tech veteran can be a leader in the industry in artificial general intelligence if the company’s employees worked hard in comparison to the present, suggests that they should work for 60 hours.

Brin’s comments came to light on Google’s efforts on Wednesday, which came to light of the attempts to re -establish his position as the leading AI since chat in 2022.

According to a report by The New York Times, Brin suggested the employees to work with the office in the week. He said that “60 hours a week of productivity is the sweet place” in a memorandum received by Mithun, Google’s AI model and apps lineup.

5) Mithun soon to be available with chat in iOS:

Apple has pushed out a backnd update with iOS 18.4 beta update that now provides Openai and Google as an alternative to the third-party model in Apple Intelligence, according to analyzer Aaron Paris on X.

Since the Apple Intelligence features are subject to many delays, it is not clear whether Gemini integration in iPhones will come with iOS 18.4 updates in April. However, it is almost certain that Chatgpt will no longer be an exclusive AI partner on Apple devices, as Gemini will also be available as an alternative to the latter date.
