1) After the images of the Ghibali style, users make fake Aadhaar cards using chat:
While the images of the studio Ghibali-style were all angry last week, this week Chatgpt users felt that there are many other ways to use Chatgpt. While some users have gone to add other effects to their images, such as action figure or Lego, many others have found more nefarious objectives.
Some Chatgpt users have started using the chatbot to generate fake base and PAN cards. With the photorialistic image generation capabilities of Chatgpt, the resulting images also looked very confident, causing nervousness on AI’s misuse.
2) Meta rolled the new Lama 4AI model:
Meta on Saturday launched two of its new AI models Lama 4 Maverick and Lama 4 Scouts. The new models are immediately available for use with meta apps, including WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger and more. Meanwhile, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has confirmed that two other models will also be launched soon, Lama 4 Bemoth and Lama 4 arguments.
LLAMA 4 Maverick comes with 17 billion active parameters and 128 experts. Meta says that MAVIVICK is “General Assistant and Products for Cases of Chat Use” and is ideal for an accurate image understanding and creative writing functions.
Meanwhile, the Lama 4 Scout has 17 billion active parameters, 16 experts and 109 billion parameters. The small Lama 4 models are asked to excel in tasks such as summarizing documents and arguing on code basis.
3) Donald Trump expanded the deadline for the Tiktok ban:
Amidst trade tension with China, US President Donald Trump said on Friday that his administration was “working on an agreement to save Tiktok” and announced a plan to sign an executive order to keep the app operational for an additional 75 days.
The popular short video app went offline for a few hours in the US for a few hours before the swearing in the ceremony. However, after signing an executive order by the US President, it quickly returned to life, giving 75 days time to get rid of his relationship with the Chinese owner.
Meanwhile, the Trump administration plans to implement a change in the US ownership of Tikokkok, as reports suggest that China may not have approved a deal to close Tikok’s US property after the US President’s Tariff announcement.
4) Announcement of Nintendo Switch 2:
Nintendo unveiled its much -awaited switch console during a live event this week, expecting the product to hit the shelves on 5 June. Switch 2 is the successor of the original console, launched in 2017 and was a major success, selling more than 150 million units worldwide.
The console was unveiled at a price of $ 450 (about 38,500), the same day when a mutual tariff was announced by US President Donald Trump. The result of those tariffs is that Nintendo soon delayed pre-order for Switch 2 in the US, which were scheduled to begin on 9 April. In a statement to CNBC, the company stated that the pre-order delayed “assessing the possible impact of tariffs and assessment to develop market status.”
5) Apple roll out iOS 18.5 developer beta 1:
Earlier this week, Apple rolled out the first iOS 18.5 beta update for developers. The new update does not include no major features, as the upcoming operating system of the cupertino-based tech giants, IOS 19 has begun to work internally, which is almost certain to be unveiled in WWDC 2025 in a few months.
With new updates, Apple added a new banner under the Applecare option to the settings to learn more about applecare coverage. Here and there are some minor turns, but nothing is big to look forward.
