Shraddha Kapoor’s jewelery brand took spotlight Shark Tank India Season 4, but not without facing hard investigation. While co-founder, Pallavi Mohdikar and Amol Patwari presented an impressive pitch, investor Vinita Singh allegedly called the brand for misleading customers.

Pallavi remembered that she first saw Shraddha wearing her pieces through an Instagram post. A fan inquired about her defeat, in which Shraddha replied that she had bought five more because she loved her. Curious, Pallavi investigated the orders and revealed that Shraddha was a customer. The team created a social media reel celebrating this moment, which eventually reached the actress. Shortly thereafter, Pallavi, who was at the time of eight and a half months pregnant, traveled to Mumbai to meet Shraddha, and cooperation took shape.
The brand pitch affected investors, although Vinita Singh indicated some concerns about customer transparency. Co-founders, Pallavi Mohdikar and Amol Patwari revealed that the company expects Rs 35 crore in revenue this year, leading to many investment proposals.

However, the pitch took a turn when Kunal Bahl questioned the brand’s lifetime warranty policy. Knowing that the so -called lifetime warranty was actually a store credit system with low returns, Kunal expressed disappointment, saying, “But this is not a lifetime warranty.” Vinita Singh carried it forward, criticized the proposal as misleading. He said that customers expecting a warranty would feel deception when they realized their purchase of Rs 3,000, only they were entitled to a voucher of Rs 450, which was not enough to buy anything from the store. Citing this as a brand risk, Vinita supported making a proposal.
Despite the dispute, Namita Thapar and Ritish Deshmukh joined the army to offer Rs 1.26 crore for 1% equity with 0.5% royalty. After some hesitation, co-founders accepted the deal. Meanwhile, Aman Gupta gave importance of Rs 20 crore to the brand, although his proposal was not taken. On the other hand, the Shraddha Association has greatly promoted the visibility of the brand.

Shraddha will be seen next time in films ‘Naagin’, ‘Chalbaaz in London’, Katina and ‘Stri’.
