Umar SY to star in Netflix’s extraction spin-off series

Clock Star Omar C will title a spin-off series for Netflix’s Smash Hit Extraction Films. According to the entertainment outlet variety, the project has received a series order from Streamer and will include eight episodes.

The show will be set in high-octane world ExtractionWhich began with the 2020 film in which Chris Hemsworth starred as the mercenary toy rake. A sequel was released in 2023.

The action thriller chain follows a hire (Sy) as it navigates a dangerous mission to save the hostages in Libya.

“Stuck between warrant groups and ruthless killers, it delays the options for the trauma, betrayal and life-or-death,” in the emotional conflicts of the disputed and flawed characters, “read the official logline.

The Glenn Mazara series as a writer, executive producer and shoruner, who would be an executive produced by filmmaker couple Anthony and Joe Ruso, who also supported the film series.
