French Electronics Brand Thomson has launched its latest 43-inch QILED Smart TV in India, the first model to be run by JIKELELE OS. New model has been priced 18,999 and the company is also offering many free free as part of the launch offer, including a Jiohotstar membership.

Thomson 43 inch TV specification:

The 43 -inch Thomson QLD TV has 4K Ultra HD resolution with 60Hz refresh rates and support for HDR 10 content. The latest smart TV supports dual-band WiFi (2.4 + 5GHz) and comes with 3 HDMI ports and 2 USB ports for connectivity.

The TV comes with a bezel-less design and is said to offer an angle to viewing angles up to 178 degrees. It is paired with a stereo speaker setup with 40W output and dolby atomos branding. Most of the other smart TVs in the market are supported for various audio modes, based on the material being played – 4 accurate, ie standard/sports/film/music mode.

The latest Thomson comes with TV 2GB RAM and 8GB storage, and runs on Jio’s latest tele OS instead of Google TV. Jio Tele OS switch means that there is no official play store on TV, and instead it is replaced by JISTORE app store. What is worth it, Thomson claims that its partnership with Jio will have a rapid response time, easy navigation and access to various types of apps.

Tele OS is claimed to bring more than 300+ free live TV channels and cut a DTH connection requirement. Bundle remote comes with four hot keys: Netflix, Jio Cinema, Jio Hotstar and YouTube. Apart from English, including Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Malayalam, Bengali and Gujarati, it is also claimed to find voice in various Indian languages.
