This AI trend will be hot topic in the world’s largest smartphone event

This is the year when according to Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, AI agents will become the next big thing for Artificial Intelligence.

It is a theory that will be tested at the Mobile World Congress (MWC), the world’s largest mobile and communication trade show, which has returned to Barcelona since Monday.

MWC is a showcase event for the new smartphone, but has gradually become a comprehensive technology show and AI has focused for the last two years. This will be no different this year, but the question is whether the so -called AI agent, which is the ability to take simple directions and complete multistap tasks, are ready for commercial deployment.

Telecommunications are an important ground for AI agents. With giant customer-service teams and complex networks for automation, companies such as AT & T and Verizon and their global peers are natural customers and partners for AI vendors.

Amazon, Microsoft, and Google-Parent ALPHABET will be monitored on a large award-by adding large telecom companies to choose your public cloud infrastructure, as a bait on hooks with AI. Any major deals declared in MWC can help investors explain that tens of billions of technical companies are putting in AI data centers, well -spent money.

Competition is fierce for customers. While Microsoft won the biggest deal ever by bringing the 5G mobile network of AT&T on its cloud in 2021, Amazon Web Services has since won a string of deals. A remarkable recent victory for AWS was bringing Comcast’s 5G network to its cloud in December.

However, software providers such as salesforce will be making a case in MWC that the real way for AI awards is through adopting their agents for everything from dealing with customer issues to data analysis. Chip maker Nvidia will also be present at the show, pitching its hardware and software platforms as a pitch and the agents will pitch as support on the edge-which are lowering cloud-computing providers.
