Tencent upgrade AI model to compete with Deepsek, Alibaba. Mint

Tencent holdings ltd. Has unveiled an advanced AI Reasoning Model, which is the latest bid for China’s most valuable company to compete for leadership in the country’s crowded artificial intelligence sector.

The company -based company rolled out the latest repetition of Hunyuan T1, which launched in its chatbot app Yunbao last month. The T1 is operated similar to the R1 of the Dipsek, the model that saw the silicon Valley at a fraction of cost and computing power by matching the best with Openi and Meta Platform Inc.

A team of TENCENT engineers claimed at an online -streamted event that the new model has some hallucinations or deformities with state -of -the -art arguments and writing capabilities. The performance of T1 is equivalent to state -of -the -art models including R1 and OPENAI’s O1, said, citing industry benchmarks.

Tencent has joined Chinese tech peers, including Alibaba Group Holding Limited and Baidu Inc. The new users include piggiback on the success of Deepsek to win. Baidu rolled out a region model last week, which says it performs at the equilibrium with R1 at only half a price after introducing the model of Deepsek in its own search engine and maps.

Alibaba’s stocks have increased by 60% this year as e-commerce pioneer extended to AI, winning recognition for its open-source cowen model. Apple Inc. to include its AI technology in the company China in China. She is also working with

Tencent, the publisher of the world’s largest sports, has adopted a two-popular approach to liberal AI. The company will rely on in-house projects such as Hunyuan and Open-Sound models, similarly it publishes its own and third party games.

For example, Tencent’s chatbot Yuanbao integrates Open-Sung R1, which helped the service to become the country’s most downloaded free app on the iPhone at one point. The R1 also provides strength to a wide suit of Tencent’s consumer-consumer applications, including its sports and WeChat super-app.

On Tuesday, Tencent released five new AI models that convert lessons or pictures into 3D visuals – equipment that can help the game studio to streamline the time it takes to get a title in the market. Last month, it unveiled the Hunyuan Turbo S, which was immediately designed to react and distinguished themselves from Deepsek’s deep logic point of view.

During Live Demo, Tencent tested the T1 and R1 on the same complex mathematics problems, showing that T1 gave more faster results than the R1. Tencent stated that the speed of decoding of T1 is with twice comparable parameters of models, thanks to the architecture called hybrid-mumb-transformer.

Near the end of the session, Tencent said it would soon open one of its middle-mammana models, which is equal to its major model.
