The first is from Tecno, which is ready to unveil the ‘world’s thinnest’ smartphones in Barcelona, ​​with a battery that is larger than the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

In recent months, Apple has talked a lot about his plus range in favor of a slim phone called iPhone 17 Air. Samsung defeated the punch at its Galaxy Unpacked event earlier this year, teasing its own slim phone, Galaxy S25 Edge to its American rival, and is set to launch it in the coming months.

With all the discussions around the slim phone, Tecno took an opportunity to tease its own thin and light equipment, called Tecno Spark Slim, which is just 5.75 mm thick and has a 5,200mAh battery.

In a post on X (East Twitter), Tecno unveiled the design of Spark Slim and also revealed some important details about the smartphone. The spark slim will have a 6.78-inch 3D curved AMOLED display and will be paired with a 50mp dual camera setup.

While Tecno has not officially confirmed this, the presence of a 5,200mAh battery in such a thin form factor shows that transition -owned company is using a silicon carbon battery – a type of technology that can improve more energy and efficiency than traditional lithium ion batteries.
