Swara Bhaskar criticizes social media platform X to permanently suspend his account

Actor Swara Bhaskar said on Thursday that his X account has been permanently suspended due to alleged copyright violations on two posts shared on Republic Day. The 36 -year -old shared a screenshot of an email received from the social media platform team on Instagram and criticized the decision as “ridiculous” and “unstable”.

He wrote, “Two images from two tweets have been marked as ‘copyright violation’. Aadhaar which is closed / disable my ex account, I cannot access it and permanent suspension has been approved by your teams. , “He wrote.

In the first post, Swara shared a picture of the popular Hindi protest slogan: “Gandhi Hum Shamerya Hai, Tere Qatil Zinda Hai” (Gandhi, we are embarrassed; your killers are still alive).

Bhaskar said, “There is no copyright violation. It is similar to urban modern folk idioms.”

In the second post, a picture of his child appeared, in which the Indian flag was waving on Republic Day. The child’s face was hidden by a heart emoji.

Bhaskar said, “How can this probably be a copyright violation ???? Who has the copyright on the equality of my child ???.” If these tweets have been described on a large scale, then their purpose is to disturb the user themselves. It is to be done and its purpose is to suppress my speech and freedom of expression, “he said.

Bhaskar urged the stage to review and reversed his decision.
