‘Sikander’ day 9 box office collection: Salman Khan-Rashmika Mandanna starrer is unlikely to cross 150 crores in India

Alexander,Starring Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna, the box office continues to struggle. Directed by AR Murugados and produced by Nadidwala grandson Entertainment and Salman Khan Films, Hindi Action Drama hit the screen on 30 March 2025.

The film earned ₹ 1.75 crore on Monday (April 07, 2025) in India, reduced its total domestic collection to ₹ 104.25 crore, reported the tracking portal Sacnilk. The worldwide collection of EID release was of 168 crores by the end of the ninth day.

Alexander, Which opened for negative reviews, struggled at the box office from day 1. It collected 26 crores on the early day, followed by 29 and 19.5 crores domestic in the next two days. The film, including Kajal Aggarwal, Satyaraj, Sharman Joshi and Anjini Dhawan, is unlikely to cross the IN 150-crores mark in India. According to the producers, the film crossed the mark of ₹ 180-crores globally in eight days.

Alexander A Gujarat revolves around Shahi (Essayed by Salman Khan), whose heart beats for the common man. A personal loss pushes him to take him to a corrupt system.

Hindu Review of Alexander Said, “Salman’s tough appearance and stilted dialogue delivery add to crisis. There is very little innovation in action choreography. In the absence of effective Camerock, it seems that people are queued to be beaten by a star, which is intention but the agility is decreasing.

“Unhappy with stock dialogues, Rashmika added another film to her filmography, where their job is to promote the arrogance of the star. Sharman Joshi and Kajal Aggarwal have reduced their presence very low. Sathraj keeps grinding his teeth as if they know what can be done with this material.” Pritam has composed music for the film while Santosh Narayanan scored the background.
