Shares of Vande Bharat, the steel supplier for the sleeper, are raining money.

New Delhi. After the overwhelming response of passengers to the Vande Bharat Express, now Indian Railways is also making the Vande Bharat Sleeper Train. Sleeper coach of Vande Bharat train is designed for overnight journey. Vande Bharat is supplying steel, Jindal Stainless to manufacture sleeper trains. The company’s shares have given investors huge returns over the past three years. During this period, the multi-beagger’s share price has increased by 345%. In the last trading session i.e. on Friday, shares of Jindal Stainless closed at Rs 730.05 with an increase of 1.45% on the NSE.

In a stock market filing, Jindal Stainless said Railway Minister Ashwini Vishnu recently unveiled a prototype train coach, for which the company has supplied high-strength tempered 301LN grade austenitic stainless steel. . Tempered 301LN austenitic stainless steel is corrosion resistant and also enhances passenger safety due to its crash and fire resistance.

Jindal Stainless has performed well in the stock market over the long term. Three years ago today i.e. on 8 September 2021, the price of this share was Rs 163.75. Now the price of this share is 730 rupees. Thus, in the last three years, this stock has given investors a return of 345%. In the last one year, Jindal Stainless has given investors around 48% return. The stock has gained 27 percent so far in 2024, while shares of Jindal Stainless have gained 10 percent in the past six months.

Features of Vande Bharat Sleeper
The Vande Bharat sleeper train will run at a speed of 160 km per hour. The train will have a total of 16 coaches, including 11 AC three-tier coaches, four AC two-tier coaches and one AC first-class coach. A total of 823 passengers will sit in the train. This new train will be fast, comfortable and equipped with modern facilities. The first set of coaches will be dispatched later this month and it is expected to be officially launched by the end of 2024. These coaches are being manufactured by Integral Coach Factory (ICF) and Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML).
