Samsung Galaxy A5G & A36 5G prices announced in India – specifications and launch offers | Mint

Samsung has officially introduced the Galaxy A56 5G and Galaxy A36 5G smartphones in India after its global start of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025. The equipment is now listed on the company’s Indian website, with pricing details for both models. However, the price of Galaxy A26 5G is currently unknown.

Pricing and launch offer

Samsung Galaxy A56 starts at 5G 41,999 for base variants with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Mid-tier model is priced with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage 44,999, while the top-end version with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage costs 47,999.

Meanwhile, Samsung Galaxy A36 is available from 5G 32,999 for 8GB + 128GB version. The price of 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB is priced 35,999 and 38,999 respectively.

As part of a limited time launch promotion, customers can buy both Galaxy A56 5G and Galaxy A36 5G 8GB + 256GB variants, which are at the same price for their 8GB + 128GB counterparts.

The Galaxy A56 5G comes in three different colors: terrible graphite, terrible light gray and terrible olives. The Galaxy A36 on the other hand is available in 5G, awesome black, terrible lavender and awesome white.

Key features and specifications

Both smartphones have a 6.7 -inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and corning gorilla Victus+ Glass Protection. Samsung has integrated several AI-operated features including auto trim, best face, AI select, and read loudly, enhancing overall user experience.

Under the hood, the Galaxy A56 5G is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1580 chipset, while the Galaxy A36 5G House Snapdragon 6 General 3 processor of Qualcomm. Both devices offer RAM and 256GB of internal storage up to 12GB, which is running on a UI 7 based android 15-. Samsung has promised six years of security update for six generations of OS upgrade and these handsets.

The Galaxy A56 5G has a triple rear camera setup, which includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), 12MP ultra-wide lens and 5MP macro sensors. The Galaxy A36 5G carries a uniform setup, but 8MP swaps the 12MP ultra-wide lens for one. Both devices sports a 12MP front-facing cameras for selfie and video calls.

Powering these smartphones is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W wired fast charging. They also come with an IP67 rating, which ensures dust and water resistance. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC and a USB Type-C port.
