Samsung’s stop for Oneui 7 update may be less than expected to bring the latest version of its updates in its old Galaxy devices with the Korean smartphone manufacturer. Samsung officially confirmed that a UI 7 rollout had started from April 7, but many Galaxy users have been waiting for the update since then, till then there was no benefit. Nearly a week after the date of the planned roll out, several reports confirmed that Samsung was stopping a UI 7 UDPATE globally due to a serious bug found in some Galaxy S24 devices in Korea.

However, if the tipster ice universe on X (East Twitter) is considered, Samsung is planning to resume a global rollout of a UI7. The tipster states that a UI7 will be rolled out for Galaxy S24 users starting from today on April 15.

We have no confirmation from Samsung yet that the official rollout will resume but the company on Monday told the Android Authority that “a UI7 rollout schedule is being updated to ensure the best possible experience”.

In addition, there is no clarity on the fact that a UI 7 rollout for the Galaxy S24 will be specific to some markets or if it will be a global update.

Why is there a UI 7 rollout delay?

Again, Samsung has not officially explained the issue that stopped a UI7 rollout, but several reports suggest that there was a problem in unlocked the phone in the Galaxy S24 devices, which had an exinos -operated Galaxy S24 devices in Korea with potential battery drainage issues.

Since then, the bug has been linked to an issue with the Samsung safe folder, but without official explanation, it is difficult to indicate an accurate problem at this stage.

Why is a UI 7 important?

A UI 7 was first introduced by Samsung during a conference in November and was eventually rolled out with Galaxy S25 devices in January. The new update has been appreciated by many people as the best software experience on smartphones, especially with APPLE’s recent AI conflicts. A UI7 brings a bar for many AI features such as Bar and AI Select, Writing Assist and Audio Eraser to control music and information from a UI 7 re -designed UI, fluid animation, rapid app opening time, now to control music and information.
