Two weeks ago, Openai unlocked the native image generation capabilities of GPT-4o (AI model that runs Chatgpt), causing a complete hosting of the entire affairs, but the most attention was paid online, that was the most attention of the studio condemned images. There is a strong opinion on both sides of the debate, with some people believe that the AI-art art will be a game changer in the future and is artistic as a hand-made painting. While the studio Ghibali has chosen to stay out of the discussion, a 2016 video has been widely referred to by its co-founder Hayo Miazaki, in which he describes a piece of art generated using an older generation model, which is as ‘insult to life’.

Recently in podcast with YouTuber Varun Mayya, Openai CEO Sam Altman was asked about Miazaki’s statement, in which the 39 -year -old replied, “I think the democratization of making materials is a very pure victory for the society. It is not fully winning. It is not a completely winning, and sure about something about it.”
