Saif Ali Khan’s attackers want bail; The claim ‘wrong case’ has been registered against him. – The Times of India

In January 2025, a person arrested in January 2025 to stab Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan in his house has now filed bail to Shiriful Islam Shahzad in the Mumbai session court.
Today, according to a report in India, Shahzad insisted in his argument that the case was coined against him. Therefore, leaving him in custody, saving and taking pre-testing sentence will not give any useful objective to take him into custody.”
Sheripul Islam Shahzad was accused of breaking Saif in Bandra house on 16 January with the intention of looting. However, as his Robri’s attempt was thwarted, he attacked the actor and stabbed him six times before fleeing from the site.
Saif WWAS was admitted to the hospital after the attack and had to undergo surgery for his wounds. He was discharged on 21 January.
First, the father of the accused addressed the media and claimed that his son was being implicated. As mentioned by Toi, he said, “He has arrested my son as a suspect, but he is not the one whose picture was released by the police after the incident … he has picked him up because he has some similarities.”
He said that his son can never rob or attack anyone by breaking up in tears and can say, “The police has implicated him just because he is a easy suspicious. We demand justice.”
