5 new WhatsApp features

1. Photo stickers: To make the group chat more fun and interactive, WhatsApp rolled out photo stickers, where users can make stickers using photos from gallery or click on immediate selfie. This feature holds the subject carefully from the image and turns it into a sticker.
2. Background Effects: Similar to Instagram filter, WhatsApp introduced videos and image filters for the background. It not only provides great background options, but also includes filters and effects for image and video. This feature is currently available to all including Android and iOS.

3. AI Studio: WhatsApp has rolled out the meta AI-managed AI studio, where users can create AI personality from various cultures including pop culture, anime, popular characters and others. To create AI personality, users can go to the Meta AI Chat window to be creative.

4. Built-in Dial Pad: It is currently an iPhone-Exclusive feature where users can reach the built-in dial pad to call or message the typed number. To reach the dial pad, go to the call tab and click on the plus icon, now, just type the phone number to ring the call.

5. Double tap to react: This is another spontaneous feature we are already using on Instagram. Now, users can only double-tab to the text message to react. This provides users easy access to emoji-based reactions for lessons. It works in the same way how we use Instagram DMS.

These are some listed WhatsApp features, which were introduced to make the chat interface more accessible, personal and comfortable for users in recent times. While some features are limited to Android or iOS, WhatsApp will provide these features for both equipment.
