HMD made a significant splash in the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 with the launch of several new equipment. The latest announcements include HMD Fusion X1, a smartphone for teenagers controlled by the underlying parents, two FC Barcelona-theme features phones and a pair of wireless earbuds capable of charging smartphones.

HMD Fusion X1

The HMD Fusion is X1, leading the lineup, the company’s first smartphone is particularly targeted on adolescents. Developed in partnership with Xplora, device prioritizes safety and digital welfare, with parents control settings, location tracking with specified security sector and a default ban on social media access. Parents can more customize the user experience through membership service starting from € 4.99 per month.

To increase online security, HMD has integrated AI-managed protection through saffetton, ensuring that the harmful material is automatically blocked before reaching the user.

The smartphone has a 6.56 -inch HD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, operated by Snapdragon 4 gen 2 chipset and offers RAM up to 8GB. The 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging ensures extended purposes. In terms of cameras, Fusion X1 has a 108MP primary lens, 2MP secondary sensor and 50MP front-facing camera for high quality selfies.

HMD Barca 3210 combines apathy with modern connectivity, with a classic game of snake sets on the football pitch, hidden messages from players and exclusive Barcelona-theem wallpapers. It also includes 4G connectivity and single-camera setup offering an extended battery life.

Meanwhile, HMD Baraka Fusion is a themed version of Fusion X1, with 11 Barsilona players signature. This device comes with a ‘detox mode’ to help screen time and a unique wake-up call function, where star players like Robert Levandowski and Gavi can start the user’s day with personal messages.
