More than 60 PC broadband, fiber, DSL users surveyed flag problems with connections: Loklakirils Poll

New Delhi, 31 March (PTI) has included about 62 percent of broadband/fiber/DSL users in the survey, cited problems with their connections, according to a report by Lokalakils, which presents itself as a community social media platform.
According to the latest survey, 51 percent of the respondents said that when increasing the complaint related to connectivity, it takes more than 24 hours to resolve the service provider.
The survey stated that “62 percent of fiber/broadband/DSL/fixed line users struggle with either connection disruption issues or low speeds, which receive the promise/payment.”
What issues were faced by users on their fiber/ broadband/ DSL/ fixed line connection for the Internet at home received 29,701 reactions with questions 32 percent about it, stating that they face “frequent disruption”.
About 30 percent said that the speed at which we are paying was less than the speed, while 3 percent of the respondents believed their routers were being used by someone else because random websites opened while trying to reach the Internet; And a similar number marked the “other issues”.
In addition, 29 percent of the respondents clarified that they “do not face any issues” while 3 percent of the respondents did not give a clear answer, it said.
For another question at average time to resolve complaints, about 51 percent of fiber/broadband/DSL/fixed line users said that the service provider takes more than 24 hours to fix the issues.
“Of 29,240 consumers, who answered the question, 7 percent said ‘7 plus day’; 4 percent of the respondents said ‘4-7 days’; 35 percent said’ 1-3 days’; 43 percent of the respondents said that the issue has been resolved within ’24 hours’,” said in the survey.
However, two percent of the respondents stated that the operator “never solves it” and 1 percent of the respondents did not give a clear answer. About 5 percent of the respondents said that they had “no complaints in the last 1 year”.
Other social media platforms such as Localcircles and X are full of complaints about the resolution delayed by platform operators.
About 66 percent of consumers in the survey said that they are interested to switch to an alternative provider for better quality, service or price, claimed in the survey.
Localcircles said the survey received more than 140,000 reactions from fixed line internet users in 333 districts of India.
