Microsoft outlook outage: Thousands of Microsoft 365 customers complained on Saturday that they were issues with services like Outlook.
The users posted screenshots and complained that services such as Outlook were crashing and they were being logged in from their email accounts.
Xbox services, which were also owned by Microsoft, were also facing issues, some users said on social media.

According to a CNN report, the outage complaints started as ET at 3:30 pm, in which users reported issues on the dowtector, a website that tracks the outage.
Media outlet stated that Microsoft 365, especially the outage report on the website for Outlook, is at the peak at around 4 pm with about 37,000 complaints.

Microsoft reacts
In a series of posts on X, Microsoft stated that it was “investigating an issue” that may have affected its users.
“We are investigating an issue in which users may be unable to reach outlook features and services.”
An hour later, the company said it had identified a possible cause for Microsoft Outlook outage.
“We have identified a possible cause of impact and returned the suspected code to reduce the effect. We are monitoring the telemetry to confirm the recovery. “Said this.
It was later stated that its telemetry indicates that “the majority of the affected services is recovering after our change”.
In a separate post, Microsoft stated that the outlook outage came after a problematic code change, adding that the services were now restored.
“After our repatriation of problematic code change, we have monitored the service telemetry and worked with the already affected users to confirm that the service is restored”.
Earlier this week, the Communications platform Slack also saw an outage, in which thousands of users were unable to use service.
