“Idu, Palakkadu District-File Dinomuku” (it is dinomuku in Palakkad district), an acquaintance, an acquaintance in an indifferent tone in a narrator. Visual Unfold: Rolling Green Hills, Misty Fields, and the cool attraction of rural Kerala. This can be a view from an old episode Agriculture philosophy On Doordarshan. But then, takes the real handle. A T-Rexes, which is still strangely domesticated, bears a tender coconut and hand it over to a farmer. In the imaginary city of Dinomuku, dinosaurs are not prehistoric remains, but farm animals, help with agriculture, provide eggs and meat, even play with children.
This AI-based minute-long Malayalam Mockucery has attacked a cord by the Storytelllers Union, which has been viewed more than 2.2 million times on Instagram and admire film stars such as Shivkarthikeyan and Aishwarya Lakesmi. The short video looks like a glimpse in a time capsule and an alternative reality, a where nostalgia is found from science fiction.
College Dream
For Gokul S. Pillai, one of the founders of the Storytellers Union, the film production was nurtured since its college days. As a B.Tech student, he and his childhood friends, Sanjay Sibi and Siddharth Soban started making short films with whatever resources could tolerate. His co-founder, Shine Naushad, was his college colleagues and later became his creative partner, who would eventually develop in the storyteller Sangh-a collective of filmmakers with expertise in various aspects of the scorching storytelling.

What started as a collective of freelancers soon turned into a creative agency, working with leading brands. By 2023, the Storytellers Union continued to continue commercial work and set its places on developing format storytelling, film and series projects.
However, traditional advertising obstacles soon became disappointing. “At one point, our advertisements became very template, and we can’t contribute creatively,” Gokul explains. With the rise of AI tools, the team began to experiment-for the use of AI for pitches, storyboards and voiceover, and later the AI-Pied Video generation discovery. In early 2025, he developed an AI-birthted teaser as a pitch tool for a feature film. The success of that experiment inspired him to refine his AI workflow, and concluded for this. Dino muck,
“We realized that a documentary format would work well within our AI-related workflow,” Gokul is called. The concept of dinosaurs of a rural city cultivation emerged during a churning session, with Sanjay Sibi with inspiration like classic agricultural TV programs in Kerala Agriculture philosophyHe quickly put the plan into action. The first AI-Janit shot-a dinosaur came out well while kissing a child that it increased his confidence. Within just eight days, the team completed the entire video, combining nostalgia with an abusively reliable reliable base.
Future of story telling
setting Dino muck Palakkad did not have just one beauty option; This was a way to take the story to a place that immediately develops the essence of Kerala. Looking at an agricultural center in the state, the succulent paddy fields of Palakkad and the hill background provided the perfect setting for the dinosaur farm. But dinosaurs were a challenge in this world. “We didn’t want him to be aggressive in most films. Instead, we aims to make him cute,” says Gokul. Through careful selection of angles and character interactions – such as a dinosaur stands near a grandmother with a grandmother – he ensured that these organisms felt both real and dear.
The AI-operated production process was a mixture of offline and online tools. Gokul first fed the AI model to gain authenticity with Kerala’s landscape, traditional dress and common people’s reference images. “I saw a lot of different dinosaurs and Kerala imagery and trained AI accordingly,” he explains. He used tools for the image generation such as Midzorney, Cra -AI and Freapic, while Kling and Sora played an important role in video production. The combination of local and cloud-based AI processing allowed them to fix scenes for cinematic perfection.

But for Gokul, AI is not just a device; This is a story. “There are many AI artists who create deep fake and reels, but when you use AI to tell the story, it should be echoed with people,” they say. He believes that AI is democratizing the material manufacturing, allowing independent filmmakers and agencies to carry forward creative boundaries. “Not only in real magic technology, but how do you use it to tell it a story.”
With the aspirations of India to become one of the first AI-operated production houses, Gokul sees AI as the next major jump for filmmaking. “Malayalam cinema has always been about ground stories. Now, we have a chance to create a large-scale projects-without holding back our science-fi and gorgeous stories without lack of grand stories.”
