Manoj Bharathirja, son of Tamil actor and veteran filmmaker Bharatirja, died on Tuesday (March 25) in Chennai at the age of 48. The actor, who had recently undergone bypass surgery, was resumed at his home in Chetpet when he faced cardiac arrest on Tuesday (March 25, 2025).
Born in Bharathirja and Chandralela in 1976, Manoj made her father debut in the 1999 film Taj Mahal. Although the film tank at the box office, AR Rahman’s evergreen music and Bhartiraja’s songs were enough to create a memorable impression among the Tamil audience for Manoj.
In a career marked by many ups and downs, Manoj acted in films like Sampadhiram, Kadal Pukkal, Varushamaelam Vasantam, And Ira Nilam,
