M4 stops selling M2 and M3 MacBook Air as models. Mint

Tech giant Apple has quietly removed the M2 and M3 MacBook Air model after the launch of its new M4 variants.

Just one day after unveiling the new MacBook Air with its state -of -the -art M4 chip, the California -based company has shut down the sale of its old M2 and M3 models. Earlier available for purchase on the company’s website, these versions have now disappeared, making way for the latest recurrence.

Apple introduced the M2 MacBook Air in 2022, followed by the M3 model in 2024. While they are no longer sold as new by Apple, customers can still find them in the company’s refurbished store for a limited time. In addition, third-party retailers such as Amazon and Flipkart will continue to stock these models, and can be available in physical stores such as Reliance and Croma.

According to Apple, the new M4 MacBook Air makes a significant boost in performance compared to the previous generations, especially when the old is contrasting with the old Intel-based Macbook. The company claims that the M4 chip provides 23 times faster than the Intel model and the M1 is doubled as MacBook Air. However, Apple has not made a direct comparison between M4 and its immediate predecessors, M2 and M3.

The latest recurrence of Apple’s popular laptop comes in both 13-inch and 15-inch variants, providing support for Apple Intelligence and the latest Macos Sequoia.

In addition, MacBook Air (2025) is set to hit the Indian markets with an initial price of Rs. 99,900 for the base model, including 16GB RAM and 256GB SSD storage. The 15 -inch large version is priced at Rs. 1,24,900 for the same configuration.

Pre-orders for the latest MacBook Air are already running, in which the device is going to be available for purchase from March 12. Customers can choose from four elegant color options: Midnight, Silver, Sky Blue and Starlite.
