‘Lava Blaze Curve 5G’ First Impression in Hindi: How powerful is this Lava phone compared to Chinese smartphones?

‘Lava Blaze Curve 5G’ First Impression: About 10 years ago, when Chinese companies did not dominate India’s smartphone market, Lava, Karbonn and Micromax used to rule monopolistically. Times changed and the storm of brands like Xiaomi, Vivo made India’s indigenous brands out of competition. However, now Lava has established itself again. This time also the challenge is from Chinese companies, there is pressure to provide similar or better technology than them at a lower price and ‘Lava’ is continuously handling this pressure. The ‘new beginning’ with Lava Agni 5G has now reached the launch of Lava Blaze Curve 5G. An attempt is made to include every feature in this smartphone that people want in the category of under Rs 20,000. The starting price of Lava Blaze Curve 5G is Rs 17,999. The company has sent us its IRON Glass color variant for review. Let us know in the first impression how the new Lava phone with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage felt during initial use.

Lava Blaze Curve 5G has a 6.67 inch Full HD Plus punch hole display. This is a curved AMOLED display, due to which the display chin is negligible and the phone has a raised screen from the front. The display has a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz, which renders the screen smoothly.

The peak brightness of 800 nits seemed average to me. Colors were emerging sharper for indoor use. There was no problem visually. There was no problem in reading e-papers and watching YouTube videos. The brightness of the display seemed to fade a bit in strong sunlight. However, it supports Widevine L1 certification, which enhances the experience of watching content on Netflix etc.

Lava claims that the battery gets fully charged in 80 minutes and 50% in 30 minutes. The battery lasted a day with average use, but its actual performance and charging time will be known after the review.

Among the few things that impressed me in the first impression, the first is the in-display fingerprint sensor. It unlocks the device faster. Second- This phone runs on Android 13.
