‘Kesari Chapter 2 – Untold chapter of Jalianwala Bagh’: Akshay Kumar, Ananya Pandey gets a release date

Akshay Kumar and Ananya Pandey starrer Kesari Chapter 2 – Untold Chapter of Jalianwala Bagh It will be released on 18 April 2025, the makers announced on Saturday. A spiritual follow -up for the film, 2019 film saffronKaran Singh is directed by Tyagi. The film will feature star R Madhavan.

Whereas first saffronThe set in 1897 focuses on the battle of Sargari, the new film will be based on the Jalianwala Bagh massacre in Amritsar, Punjab on 13 April 1919. Raginald Dior, a British Brigadier-General, ordered the soldiers to set fire to an unarmed crowd of more than 15,000 Indians gathered at Jaliyanwala Bagh on Baisakhi Day. The mass gathered to peacefully oppose the unjust Raulut Act. One of the most dark in the history of the country, the event is seen as a rally point in the Indian independence movement, which strengthens the revolutionary spirit against British rule in India.
