Google Search Now shows AI-Janit season Snapshot for select users: Report | Mint

Google is reportedly testing a new Artificial Intelligence (AI) feature that provides users directly within their mobile search experience with a brief, text-based summary of the current weather conditions. This feature, which is currently limited to availability, has been observed by some users in the United States when the city-specific weather information is discovered through the Google app on Android and iOS.

According to a report by9to5googleThe AI-manual summary appears between the standard per hour and 10-day forecasting classes and is aimed at offering an one-e-e-understanding understanding of the weather. The short story includes major details such as wind conditions, rain or thunderstorms, atmospheric pressure patterns and tendency in temperature.

Currently, this feature appears in an early testing phase, in which visibility is restricted in some areas. The search for “Weather Los Angeles” and “Weather San Diego” allegedly triggered new summary, while other places did not give equal results. Mint was also unable to reach summary for cities mentioned, indicating that the rollout is limited to a small user group.

In addition to the text details, the AI-related section contains a small icon connecting external sources for more broad weather information. Below the summary, Google has added a disclaimer that states: “The generative AI is an experiment,” confirming that the device is still in a test phase.

Currently, the new feature appears only within the Google app and on the mobile web. It does not appear on desktop platforms or when users are not signed in their Google accounts.

Google has not yet announced or confirmed any plans for wide rollouts when the facility may be widely available. In addition, the tech comes as part of the ongoing efforts of the legend, providing more relevant and user friendly information on its platforms, which are to integrate in the suits of services.
