Google on Wednesday launched the Pixel 9A with the Tensor G4 processor, which was the largest battery in a pixel to date, and 7-year-old OS update, the company in direct competition with the premium mid-range rivals from Samsung and Apple.

Meanwhile, Pixel 9A is powered by a Google’s tensor G4 chip, as well as with Titan M2 Safety Co-Prosecons. It is supported by 8GB of RAM and 256GB non-expansionable storage. Going on Android 15, the phone comes with a 7 -year -old OS update and a promise of security patch.
Purability:
The Galaxy A56 comes with an IP67 rating, which means they can handle submerged in 1 meter of water for about 30 minutes.
Pixel 9A is definitely an upper hand with an IP68 rating that may be submerged in water in the same time.
While the two companies do not provide warranties related to water -related defects, a high IP rating certainly provides better peace of mind.
Camera:
The Galaxy comes with a 50MP primary shooter, 12MP ultra wide angle lens and 5MP macro shooter with the Galaxy A56 OIS. On the front, you get a 12MP shooter for selfie and video calls.
Google comes with 48MP primary sensor with 9A OIS and a dual camera setup with 13MP ultra wide angle lens. There is a 13MP shooter on the front that can record up to 4K 30fps videos.
Battery:
The Galaxy A56 packs 5,000mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging. However, the phone does not support wireless charging.
Meanwhile, Pixel 9A comes with a 5,100mAh battery with a slow 23W fast charging but 7.5W wireless charging support.
price:
Samsung Galaxy A56 starts at 5G 41,999 for base variants with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Mid-tier model is priced with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage 44,999, while the top-end version with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage costs 47,999.
The price of Google Pixel 9A is Rs. 49,999 and 8GB RAM and 256GB storage will be available in the same version. One thing is to be noted here that Pixel 9A is currently unavailable for pre-ordereds and will only be available to buy in April.
