After the death of her husband, the family was facing a financial crisis, but even in this difficult situation, Mrs. Patel did not lose heart and decided to start her own business. Struggling with a financial crisis, Bhumika Patel came to know about the Mukhi Mantri Saksham Thaksham Yojana, which provides loans and financial support to women to start businesses. During this time, she met the supervisor of the Women and Child Development Department who gave her complete information about the scheme and also told her that she was eligible for it.

Let us tell you that Bhumika Patel applied under the scheme and submitted her self-employment plan. On applying, he was given a loan of Rs 40,000 by the Balokas Project Busna, which he used in his goat rearing business. This effort not only improved the economic condition of his family but also gave him self-confidence and self-reliance.

Bhumika Patel told Local 18 that she pays regular installments of the loan taken under the Saksham scheme, and within about a year, the profits from goat rearing have provided her family with income. After that he also started farming by mortgaging the fields in the village which further expanded his business.

The assistance received under the Saksham scheme not only made Mrs. Bhumika Patel self-reliant but also provided her family with a dignified life. This scheme is empowering women facing financial problems to stand on their own feet. Bhumika Patel has thanked the government through Local 18 for running the scheme.

The goal of self-reliance
He told Local 18 that the aim of the Chief Minister’s Saksham Thakur Yojana is to empower and make the women of the state self-reliant. Under this scheme, the state government provides loans at low interest rates to eligible women, so that they can start their own small scale industries. Business start-up loans of up to Rs 1 lakh are provided on easy terms, payable in installments at a simple annual interest rate.
