Chhawa Box Office Collection Day 32: Vicky Kaushal starrer recorded the lowest on Monday; Earns Rs 2.65 crore. – The Times of India

Vicky Kushal’s latest release, Chhawa, continues its remarkable box office trip, sets new benchmarks for success. Bring in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj For life with his brilliant performance, Kaushal has closed the audience since the film’s release. However, on its fifth Monday, the film recorded one of its lowest collection to date, earning around Rs 2.65 crore. Despite the dip, Chhawa managed to cross John Abraham’s The Diplomat, which earned around Rs 1.50 crore at the box office.
Chhawa had the fifth weekend, securing the top position with an estimated collection of Rs 22 crore, performing better than Stri 2 (Rs 16 crore) and Pushpa 2 (Rs 14 crore in Hindi). The film’s Monday’s earnings marked a significant decline from its earlier Monday – Rs 24 crore on the first Monday, Rs 18 crore on its second, Rs 7.75 crore on its third and Rs 5.25 crore on its fourth.
If the film maintains its current speed, it can further the mark of Rs 30 crore this week, which can further strengthen its box office dominance. Directed by Laxman YouTech, Chhava as Emperor Aurangzeb as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and Akshaye Khanna, Rashamika Mandana and Diva Dutt. Since its release on 14 February, the film has exceptionally well performed at the box office, crossing a mark of Rs 500 crore in India within 23 days, making it the first 2025 film to achieve this achievement.
Reacting to a huge response, Vicky expressed gratitude to fans through social media, wrote, “Thank you for your immense love.”
With this milestone, Chhawa has become Kaushal’s highest grossing film to date and the first Bollywood film of 2025 carries forward its position as a box office powerhouse, to cross the 500 crore mark.
