When will you get your money back?

According to RBI, if the fraud occurs through any lack of information, lack of banking or any other means, be it through phone, net banking, debit card, credit card or online payment gateway, So a complaint can be filed. You can get money later. In addition, if funds are lost from the account due to a third-party breach in the system, which is neither the bank’s nor the customer’s fault, the funds are also refunded.

However, RBI has clearly stated in its guidelines that if any fraud occurs, the bank has to be informed in writing within 3 days of the incident. If the customer informs the bank within 4 to 7 days, there is still some chance that the money can be recovered, but there are limits to this as well. In case of online fraud, first file a written fraud complaint at the nearest police station on the same day. If FIR is filed then ok, if not file complaint and receive.

Try going to your bank for a police receipt on the same day of the fraud or the next day. Write the fraud complaint there and submit it by attaching the police receipt.

the third important step is to send the soft copy of both the copies to the RBI email id. crpc@rbi.org.in But, enter your bank email ID in CC and send it immediately. The sooner you do this, the better your chances of getting your money back. This must be done within 3 days.

How many days does it take to receive the money?
Kisle says that once the information reaches the RBI, the banks do their work properly, not only that, if there is a complaint with the police, a complete formality is done by the customer. Then you won’t need to run anywhere. You will get your money back within 3 to 21 days.

Who does not return the money?
