Chat overload? Sam Altman pushed GPT-5 to the latter date, confirming the new model launch of this month. Mint

Openai CEO Sam Altman has confirmed that the manufacturers of CHATGPT are delaying the launch of their latest base model, GPT-5, after facing the ‘Bible’ demand for the recently launched native image generation for generation. In particular, the underlying model GPT-4o of Chatgpt received a huge update last week, which allowed it to generate images directly instead of relying on the external model such as Dal-A3. The new features allowed Chatgpt to be better understood by generating more fine and accurate images of the user, resulting in a trend of global studio-style image by social media users.

The viral tendency caused the lack of GPU within the company, which also put the image generation boundaries on the spat plus and the Pro members. However, Openai has recently learned the lesson of lack of supply, saying that it “wants to ensure that we have enough ability that we expect unprecedented demand.”

Ultman reported that GPT -5 release is delayed for “a group of causes”, but the most exciting is that the Microsoft -supported company now believes that this language can make model much better than imagination.

What do we know about GPT-5?

In addition to the details shared through a social media post earlier this year, not much is known about the GPT-5, where he said that GPT-4.5-which was released last month-would be the final non-renning model for the company.

“A top goal for us is to unite the O-series model and GPT-series model that can use all our tools by creating a system, knowing when to think for a long time, and should usually be useful for a very wide range of tasks.” Altman explained the roadmap for GPT-5 in its post.

In particular, the new ‘O’ series models of OPENAI such as O3 Mini and O1 are arguing the first model, which aims to mimic human level thinking abilities to solve more complex problems such as coding, mathematics and logic related functions. When offering nuances, logic models take a little more time than their standard counterparts and may not be ideal for simple questions.

Altman confirmed that Openai would remove the model with picker in GPT-5 and integrate the existing model to a lot of companies. Openai has planned to give ‘unlimited access’ to GPT-5 on standard intelligence settings (under ‘misuse threshold’), while Plus and Pro subscribers are planned to achieve high levels of intelligence at any time.

Altman also confirmed that Openai 3 new models are rolling the O3 Pro, O3 and O4 mini – the latter two for release in the coming few weeks.

In particular, Openai announced its O3 and O3 mini language models for the first time during the 12 -day program in December. Amidst the rise of China’s Deepsek AI, which provides free logic ability, Openi also ran to bring out its O3 mini model in late January and also made available to free users with some restrictions. However, this is the first time that the company has given a term deadline for the O3 rollout.

In addition to these models, Openai has planned to launch its first open weight model since the GPT-2 in the coming months, which Altman has previously confirmed that will be subject to additional safety assessment.
