A major feature of the iPhone 16 has not yet met the Apple Intelligence platform, yet expectations. The topic was a major discussion point in the recent offsome assembly of senior leaders of Apple, known as ‘Top 100’.

Rockwell, the first vice president of Apple’s Vision Products Group (VPG), will move away from that role. A hardware engineering executive Paul Mede will handle the leadership of the Vision Pro Team. Apple considered rockwell experience valuable in developing new products to improve Siri’s capabilities.

The company has faced some challenges in rolling out the new Siri facilities, including those announced in the last June. Some of these updates, which focus on increasing privatization and increasing data access, are delayed. Apple initially promoted these promotion as part of the characteristics of the iPhone 16, but their release has been postponed. Internal, Apple has accepted these failures and is working to address them.

Siri has taken many leadership changes since the launch in 2011. It was first maintained by Scott Forcetal, later managed by Eddie Q, and then placed under Craig Fedregi. Giannandrea took over in 2018, bringing Apple’s AI work together under a division. He will live with the company, will continue to take care of AI research, testing and robotics projects.

Apple has recently begun to refer to the Vision Pro and related projects as ‘AI products’, which reflects the comprehensive integration of AI in its hardware. The company is also searching for new AI-operated hardware innovations such as airpods with external-honor cameras to support AI functionality.

To support this infection, Apple has re -assigned experienced officers for the AI team. Kim Wortha, known for managing complex projects, was transferred to the AI group in January. Recently, senior manager Amy Nugant joined the Siri team to further strengthen the leadership.

Rockwell has earlier suggested ways to improve Siri, including making it more individual. With his new role, now they will have the opportunity to apply these ideas and contribute to Apple’s AI development strategy.
