‘Blue Box’ Series Review: A Sensitive Love Triangle which is great for injury

By soft feelings and spontaneous story by alchemy, Blue box The kind of anime has become anime that makes you indifferent to a high school experience that you probably never had. It is a sports anime, without heavy Bravo, a romance anime without melodramatic excess. But at its core, some of it is really rare: a love triangle where everyone is so thoughtful, so painful thoughtful, that you almost want to be happy all together. About.

A popular saying in the Otaku community is that the love triangle is more like emotional mortgage conditions. A party is usually schemeing, another painful is oblivious, and third – almost always “loser” – emotional punching bags that fly to heartbreak for the story stress. Taki’s childhood friend and a gymnast with an Olympic-tight firmness, Hina can easily be written as jealous, medaling interlepaper. Instead, he is one of the most deeply felt characters in the show, with an unspecified pain, tease with fickle pain that only grows with the story moving forward. She knows that Taki’s heart is of Chinthat, but he does not stop her from falling for her anyway. And, significantly, she does not let it make it cruel.

If Blue box Most romance followed the conferences of Anime, Hina would either be an anti-opposition or a martyr-in-in-making. Here, MIURA gives a grant to his agency without provoking his desires. The series thrives on its restraint. It is not that the characters do not have emotions (they are with them ChibiIn abundance throughout the season), but that they are so deeply aware of each other’s feelings that they hesitate to act in ways that can cause damage. The resulting stresseds, and some other campers, feel weighty compared to the most dramatic declarations of love to every near-touch and uncertain smile.

The telecom animation film has imbuated the series with a kind of soft, golden-hour glow, which makes a stray gust of wind or sweat on the forehead cinematic. Animation makes some specially impressive: it feels the game as an emotional romance to charge, and the romance feels as a breathing as a game. Whether it is a badminton match or a strange exchange outside the locker room, everything is imbuated with an urgency and purpose. But perhaps the most notable thing Blue box How sensitively it has handled to break heart. In its frightening episodes, the chain presents rejection as some things that neither come from cruelty or indifference, but simple, destructive facts that sometimes, love is not just mutual. The show does not do well to feed this moment, but later does the penis, which reduces the crushed weight of emotions. Emotional climax comes as a magnificent moment of pure honesty, and is one of the best -operated love triangle resolutions that I have enjoyed to take out my eyes.

If any complaint is to be made, it is Blue box Is almost very soft. There are moments when you want to catch these characters from the shoulders and tell them Do something already. Slow, tender build-up can be cute, but after 25 episodes, one begins to be surprised whether we can get more than only a glimpse and half-formed words. A held hand, perhaps? A whisper “I like you” which is not half in hesitation? Perhaps this is the demand for season 2. However, however, however, Blue box Stands as a rare type of romance that catchs all painful uncertainty of young love without the need to build a cheap conflict.
