Bhavish Aggarwal’s LED Krutam AI has announced that it has started hosting the Deepsek R1 Reasoning Model on the Indian server and is also providing Indian developers at a cheaper price.

Aggarwal said that while Chinese startups need to be cautious, using its open source model and deploying them on Indian servers can help to jump the country’s progress.

In a post on X, announcing the inclusion of Deepsek R1 on Kriturim, Bhavish wrote, “@Krutrim deployed Deepseek -R1 671B on H100s – for the first time in the world. It is the most powerful open-source model available and to enable all Indian developers to access it, we will give it the price 1/million tokens for February. ,
