Beats have launched the Powerbits Pro 2, an advanced version of wireless earbuds designed for athletes and fitness enthusiasts. Powerbeats Pro 2 is now available to buy in India through apple.com/in, which is priced 29,900. It comes in four color options- jet black, quick sand, hyper purple and electric orange. The on-shelf availability has been set for February 13.

Specifications and features

The latest recurrence is a modified acoustic design, which includes individual spatial audio with dynamic head tracking. It also contains adaptive EQ, which adjusts the sound in real time depending on the fit of the user’s ear.

Additionally, earbuds provide active noise cancellation (ANC) and transparency mode, allowing users to either block external noise or know about their surroundings when needed.

Powerbits Pro2 claims to be 20 percent lighter than its predecessor and tested with around 1,000 athletes. Ear hooks with a nickel-titanium alloy have been reinforced to improve flexibility and grip. For comfort, the size of a fifth ear tip has been introduced, which is expanding options for extra-small, small, medium, large and extra-big.

A significant additional heart rate monitoring for the new model is, which uses LED optical sensors to measure more than 100 times per second. This data can be shared with various fitness applications, including Ranna, Nike Run Club and Open. Users can track their heart rate in real time, assisting in performance evaluation during workouts.

Powerbeats Pro 2 is equipped with class 1 Bluetooth for expanded connectivity, supporting one-touch pairing and automatic switching for apple devices. It also integrates features such as hand -free ciri activation, audio sharing and finding my functionality. Android users can use similar capabilities through the Beats app, which provides battery status updates, custom control and firmware updates.

For communication, each earbud includes one voice accelerometer and three microphones, which aim to improve call clarity through computational audio and noise suppression. A touch volume rocker and on-air button allow for free control of the hands of the music playback.

With apple-designed H2 chip, Powerbeats Pro 2 is claimed to offer a total battery up to 45 hours of life, reaching 10 hours per charge in each earbud. The five -minute charge provides a playback of about 90 minutes. Together, the charging case has been reduced to 33 percent in size and now supports wireless charging.
