Alia Bhatt on anxiety and management of emotions: ‘Support definitely helps …’ | Hindi Movie News – The Times of India

Alia Bhatt recently opened her ongoing journey with concern, revealing that she attends the weekly therapy session to manage her mental health.
Speaking during an intimate pre-birth festival with the media, where she joined her husband Ranbir Kapoor, Alia admitted that the emotions handled “a daily task progress.”
The actor, who previously discussed his struggles with anxiety and ADHD, emphasized the importance of self-awareness.
She said that she finds herself in different moments, where her feelings are getting better than that and despite not being deeply in mind, Alia explained that recognizing her emotional pattern helps her to navigate the difficult situations.
Alia also revealed that reading her daughter, Raha, provides unexpected comfort. She mentioned a children’s book called The Book of Emotion, which she often reads to her. “When I read that book, it is really as if I am reading myself,” Alia said, stating that simple lessons about emotions also serve as a reminder for him.
The actor believes that accepting emotions, with regular medical and open interaction, plays an important role in maintaining mental welfare. “Support definitely helps, and it helps to talk out,” he said.
On the work front, Alia Bhatt will be seen next time in ‘Love and War’, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, where she acts with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. His previous outing ‘Jigra’ failed to impress the audience and became an average hit at the box office.
