‘AI will remain incomplete without India’: PM Narendra Modi on Lex Fridman Podcast | Mint

In a podcast with MIT scientist and American podcaster Lex Fridman, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the development of artificial intelligence (AI) worldwide would be incomplete without India’s contribution.
“I talk openly with my heart. No matter what the world does with AI, it will be incomplete without India. I am making this statement very responsibly, ”PM Modi said that it was released on Sunday 16 March.

Modi shared the need for cooperation to develop Artificial Intelligence (AI) globally.
“I believe AI development is fundamentally a cooperation. All involved support each other through shared experiences and learning, ”Modi told Fridman.
Modi also focused on India’s AI trend and said that India is not only developing the theoretical AI models, but now working on bringing AI-operated applications for people of specific use of people.
“We have already created a unique market-based model to ensure its widespread access. An important mentality in India is taking place, although historical impact, traditional government processes or strong support infrastructure lacking revealed us behind others, ”Modi said.
India’s talent behind AI development
PM Modi also said that India has been gifted with major resources to develop artificial intelligence – “India’s youth and talent pool”.
“Without real human intelligence, AI may continuously thrive or cannot progress, and that real intelligence exists in India’s youth and talent pool. And I believe this is our biggest property, “Modi said.
PM Modi also focused on the debate between technology and humanity and highlighted how it is sometimes depicted in a very conflicting nature. He also emphasized that it is always a person who finds a “best way” to use technology for his benefit.
“I strongly believe that no technology can ever change the immense creativity and imagination of the human mind,” PM Modi released on Sunday, 16 March.
