AI can treat all diseases in a decade, Arvind Srinivas of Google Deepmind CEO-Perplexity agrees. Mint

Damis Hasabis, CEO of Google Deepmind, has predicted that new AI models can not only help cure diseases, but can also move forward to the end of all diseases. Hasabis’s statement soon received an unexpected performance from rival and Perplexity AI CEO Arvind Srinivas, who called it “talent”.
While speaking during the CBS’s 60 -minute interview, Hasabis said, “So, on average, it takes only ten years and billions of dollars to design only one medicine. We may probably reduce it that may probably or perhaps even for weeks.
Asked if AI will take to the end of all diseases, Hasabis replied, “I think it is within access. Perhaps within the next decade, either, I don’t see why not.”
Reacting to a video of Hasabis’ interview on X (East Twitter), Srinivas wrote, “Damis is a talented and he must be given all resources in the world to do so.”
In particular, the main product of Perplexity AI is an artificial intelligence-powered search engine that directly competes with Google. AI Startup is also planning to launch a new agent browser to challenge Google Chrome’s dominance.
AI gave one billion year PhD time in a year:
Hasabis also said that his current AI was capable of completing a billion year -old PhD time in a year by mapping 200 million protein structures.
Talking to LinkedIn CEO Reid Hoffman, Hasabis recently said, “So we did one billion year PhD in a year. They used to search for a protein structure, as a rule of a PhD, their entire PhD, thumb, to search for a protein structure, to search for four or five years. Molers that will tie the right part of the protein of the protein, if you know, if you know this structure, if you know this structure will tie it. Is the problem
