After Perplexity, Microsoft Azure Ai Foundry and Github introduce Deepsek R1 on Mint

Tech giant Microsoft has added Deepsek R1 to the Azure AI Foundry and Model Catalog on Githib, expanding its collection of more than 1,800 AI models.

One in blog postMicrosoft stated that the new addition comes as part of the company’s ongoing efforts, providing a wide variety of AI solutions, including frontier, open-sources, industry-specific and working models.

The blog post said, “Dipsek R1 is now accessible through the Azure AI Foundry platform, provides a way to integrate businesses a scalable, advanced AI technologies in the enterprise-rade environment.”

The model is designed to improve AI logic, which provides developers with a cost -effective solution to use advanced AI abilities without the need for broader infrastructure. According to the company, Dipsek R1 provides devices that allow for quick experimentation, benchmarking and performance evaluation. The purpose of these devices is to streamline the development process, which enables rapid recurrence and integration of AI to applications.

The model catalog of Azure AI Foundry has been deployed as a resource for companies to reach a wide range of AI models at one place. The platform also includes the underlying features such as model assessment equipment, making it easier for developers to test and score their AI applications.

Microsoft highlighted that security remains a focus, and Deepsek R1 has begun to undergo various safety assessment, including model behavior assessment and safety reviews. The platform includes safety measures such as the Azure AI content safety, providing automatic material filtering, and a safety assessment system, which allows customers to test their applications before deployment.

For developers looking to use Dipsek R1, the process includes signing up for an ago account and navigating model catalogs to find the model. After deployment, users are given an API and key, with access to a playground for testing models. The company has also announced a plan to offer distilled versions of Dipsek R1 which can be locally walking on Copillot+ PC, which is expected to be available soon.
