Theater is like my comfort food, lentils and rice: Kumud Mishra

“Theater is like my rest food, Dal chawalSomething that I want to return as many times. Kumud Mishra is alert to the upmaas he uses to describe his first love.
Is the latest Saanp sedehi, A thriller under the guise of a love triangle where Kumud plays the role of a showman is different from his understanding on screen. This year in Mumbai and Delhi this year staged as part of the bouquets of plays bouquets, Sanap Cedihi One is Native Anthony Shefer’s Popular Do-Karna Adaptation Sleith.
Written in 1970, Akrash Khurana has adapted DogAnd director Shubjayoti procession produces adventure and the way it tells us Sanap Siri A board is more than the game – it teaches us the cost of sins and the value of virtuous deeds.
Kumud played the role of Anil Wadhwa, an old-aged actor-director-producer of Crime Thrilors, inviting his wife’s young lover (played by Sumit Vyas) and cooks a conspiracy in his personal place. What begins as a unique, friendly chat leads to a twisted clash of igos that becomes frightening.
“There is a lot of scope for performance DogOver the years, some top actors have played a role. I did not see any performance or cinematic adaptation available on the Internet. Now, I can catch. Each actor feels that after playing a large part, he will grow up. This does not happen in that way, however, “Kumud remains practical like some of his popular on-screen characters.
While many of his contemporaries in the National School of Drama have no time for the platform, Kumud says that if you have desire and intentions, time cannot be a hindrance. “My training at the theater helped me perform better in mainstream films. And, my experience in cinema helped me improve the characters better. With technology making my way in theater, you will not have to try to listen to the last line.”

Quoting Naseeruddin Shah, Kumud says that Thesian told him that the character’s figure is in a good script. “We just have to find them.” He credits directors like Anubhav Sinha, Nitin Kakkar and Vijay Krishna Acharya along with exploiting his ability. For example, in My great Indian family, Kumud plays the role of a priest who is secular, and he says Vijay helped him find the internal struggle of the character.
Recently, Kumud’s friend was not allowed to stage a play on the Hitler set in Nazi Germany. “Art is a medium of opposition, but in the current environment, when two people can threaten you and burn three places, showing your art has become a risk. It leaves us weak. It leaves us weak. In cinema, there are more bets. The theater still finds a way. Is our drama political, religious, satire …”
There was a time, remembering Kumud, when he played Aurangzeb in a school production on Sambhaji and Alamgir. “I was 16 years old, and my Marathi drama teacher inspired me to bring him out. In those days, we did not see things in black-white. Surely, Aurangzeb was cruel, even for his family. But why we can’t see him as a ruler, a person? Why do we use aspirations on an entire community?”
A student of history, Kumud does not buy the argument that history books are not appropriate in representing the past. “I was very aware of the Vijayanagara Empire, Cholas and Cherons, and have visited Hampi many times. We have to make people socially and politically aware and wait for society to get bored with hate stories.”
From a deep religious family in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, Kumud’s father was in the army and was emotional about acting on stage. “My sister’s best friend was from another religion. My grandfather and father had no issue with it, but my mother did not get it right. But she could not justify for her rejection. These days, WhatsApp gives us justification through a false story. We cannot depend on social media stories to know each other.Express more surprise by saying Aap Waise Wale Musalman Nahin Hai (You are not like that Muslim) When we cross the paths of others. ,
