How powerful is the Meizu M6T? At first glance
Like other smartphones in this price segment, the Meizu M6T also has dual rear cameras, an octa-core processor and a 3,300mAh battery to power the phone. Design and Specifications of Meizu M6T
Meizu M6T looks like any other budget smartphone. Meizu M6T has a 5.7 inch HD+ (720×1440 pixels) LCD display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The back panel is made of plastic and it has two rear cameras for photography. We found the display brightness and contrast to be quite good in indoor lighting. The front panel of the phone is not capacitive or has any buttons. The 8 megapixel selfie sensor, earpiece and sensor are placed on the top of the phone.
Meizu M6T has two rear cameras. The primary sensor is of 13 megapixels (F/2.2 aperture) and the secondary sensor is of 2 megapixels (F/2.0 aperture). The secondary sensor will help in taking depth shots. Indoor pictures taken from Meizu M6T looked good, but we could not check the outdoor performance of the camera during the event. We will soon give you detailed information about the phone’s camera in our review. For security, the fingerprint sensor has been placed just below the rear camera.
After spending some time with the phone, we found that the fingerprint sensor was working correctly and quickly. The SIM tray is on the left side of the phone while the power, volume up and down buttons are on the right side. The micro-USB port and speaker grill are at the bottom of the phone while the 3.5 mm headphone jack is on the top of the phone.
The shell of Meizu M6T is made of polycarbonate. The phone is easy to use even with one hand. Let us tell you that the weight of Meizu M6T is 145 grams. For speed and multitasking, MediaTek MT6750 processor has been used in Meizu M6T. The same processor has also been used in Nokia 3.1 and LG Q7. We will give you detailed information about the performance of the phone in our review. The phone has 3 GB RAM along with 32 GB internal storage to save photos, videos and other things.
Meizu M6T is powered by a 3,300mAh battery. The company has confirmed that the handset does not support mCharge fast charging. The phone has a battery saving mode that helps reduce the number of things running in the background.
Software of Meizu M6T
Meizu M6T will run on Flyme OS based on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. The company has not confirmed whether the phone will get an update in the future or not. In the Settings app, you will find features like on-screen buttons and gesture-based navigation. After spending some time with the phone, we did not find the gestures very smooth. In the phone, you will find apps like theme, security, tool box and custom app store.
